Historic Trades Camp - Camp Canceled

July 18-21, 2017

This year our Historic Trades Camp theme is based on our New Visitor Center Exhibit, “Signed, Stamped or Engraved:  A Treasury of Artifacts Bearing Names.”

Campers will explore the important roles of several craftspeople including a weaver, seamstress and baker. In addition, they will learn how each craftsperson would make their product unique through their “signature.” Projects include weaving on an Inkle Loom (pictured at left), sewing an historic apron and learning to prepare pies in our Tavern bake oven. We will finish the week with our 1st pie bakeoff at Landis Valley!

Pre-registration is required.  Contact Sheri Brown at 717-569-0401 ext. 228 to register your child. Registration closes 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. *Activities and projects may change without prior notice.
