Civil War Days

July 22 & 23, 2017

Experience life during the Civil War at Landis Valley's Civil War Days.  Make way for cavalry drills and cover your ears during the musket firing demonstrations.  Talk to the Ladies' Aid Society, members of the Sanitary Commission, politicians, and other civilians who supported the soldiers and the war effort, as well as Civil War engineers, soldiers, generals, and President Abraham Lincoln.  Games and hands-on activities for kids and horse-drawn wagon rides for the whole family.  Lectures and a Civil War fashion show round out the event.

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at the museum store, along with books about the Civil War and hand-made re-enactment accessories.  Picnic grove on-site for you to bring your packed lunch.  Parking is free.  Event is rain or shine and tickets sold online are non-refundable.
